‘World’s most beautiful sailboat’ reaches Australia on world tour – Embassy

The name of the sailboat is a tribute to Americo Vespucci (1454–1512), an Italian sailor who led European exploration of the Americas. Built in 1930, Amerigo Vespucci is the longest-serving unit in service with the Military Navy and has been operating as a training ship since June 6, 1931.
