A cosmetic procedure on the brows, intended to make them more harmonious, turned out to be a 37-year-old American’s worst nightmare for Krystal Weinstock.
The Houston, Texas resident did microblading, a semi-permanent technique for filling in strands.
In an interview with the British newspaper Daily Mail, the woman spoke about her young daughter’s dismay and reaction to seeing the disastrous result of her eyebrows.
“I never imagined an outcome like this in a million years. That was horrible! When my 3-year-old daughter saw my new eyebrows, she was horrified.
American said it decided to carry out the process to achieve the desired appearance in the strings with more agility. So, she went to a beauty salon near where she lives and paid US$340 for microblading, which is equivalent to R$1,740.
“As a busy mom, I’ve found that it takes a long time to fill in my eyebrows and make sure they’re in the right shape. That’s why I thought microblading, Explained.
Afraid of the consequences, Crystal lamented, “I asked for full brows, not voluminous.”
Now, what was supposed to be a quick fix turned out to be a big loss, as he would have to undergo a few laser sessions to remove the procedure and be able to return to the original shape of his eyebrows.
“I didn’t think it would be so bad and take so much work,” he concluded.
