US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Brazil has joined efforts to “end hostility” in Ukraine. Blinken said on Twitter that he had spoken to Brazilian Foreign Minister Carlos Franca.
“The United States and Brazil are united in an immediate end to Russian hostilities with Ukraine and countries around the world,” Blinken wrote.
Yesterday, Brazil abandoned its position of neutrality and deployed itself to the United Nations [Organização das Nações Unidas] Against the Russian invasion of Ukrainian territory.
