Man suffers serious head injury after leopard attack during picnic in India

One panther attacked a group having a picnic and at least left three people injured Last Sunday (20th) India The attack took place in a park in the Southern Forest Division mountain range in north-central Madhya Pradesh.

The animal was in a nearby forest area, when the group found out, they started trying to get it out of the forest so that they could photograph and film it. Shortly after, the kitten ran towards a group of about 50 people. In panic they started shouting: “Run!”

The leopard caught a pedestrian and threw him down. Soon after, he ran towards the other person.

The victims of the attack were taken to a nearby hospital, two of whom suffered serious head injuries.

According to a park official, there was another incident of tiger attack in the area a few days ago and after that they had advised people not to go into the forests.

‘A warning has been issued. We ask the authorities to warn residents and others not to enter the forests. “A control room has also been set up to help people in such incidents,” the officer said.
