This Tuesday (16), at an event promoted by IMBRICS (International Forum of Municipalities of the BRICS Countries) at the Indian Embassy, the Secretary of National Articulation, Vânia Franco, and the Director of Investment Attraction at InvestSC, Rodrigo Prisco, presented the possibilities of the State of Santa Catarina to the country’s Ambassador Suresh Reddy and Ambassador Sneha Reddy.
The event was aimed at creating a “network” between states, municipalities and the Indian embassy, as well as state-owned companies in the Asian country. Representatives from Asian banks were also present.
The embassy team also presented important statistics on the country’s infrastructure and explained how India has achieved a technological boom in the last 10 years. Lourdes Martini, Deputy Secretary of National Articulation, and Fabio Pinto, President of Fapesc, also participated.
“Whenever we have the opportunity to present our state, we will do so. Whether on the economic, technological or tourism side. Santa Catarina can invest in many areas, because we can provide quality services and products in many areas”, said Vânia Franco.
The presentation to the Indians showed that Santa Catarina is the number 1 state in startups and the largest producer of pork and poultry in the country.
In addition to Santa Catarina, representatives from Acre, Mato Grosso, Rondônia, Bahia and Paraíba attended the dinner.
