The Roku Streambar is a brand new device that does a two-in-one upgrade for your TV, bringing 4K HDR streaming to your living room in a compact device and a cinematic sound that blends seamlessly into your entertainment setup.
Starting next month, the gadget packs powerful audio with an inexpensive way to upgrade your home’s living room with love-stopping streaming features, and has multiple functionality to round out the experience.
Roku Streambar has a total of four 1.9 ”full range drivers; The two center drivers provide “crisp, clean” audio to make the conversation easier to listen to, while the corner side drivers “fill the room with sound.”
Roku explains that its audio engineering enables the streambar to pull out the sound “while increasing clarity of speech and adding sophisticated depth to the music.”
Additional audio features include four sounds (ng (normal, lower bass, boost bass, bass off), and if you’re watching live TV, it rejects sound even on those annoyingly loud commercial items. Manages seamless auditory transformation so that it does not become as jarring as it can be.
On-demand TVs and movies, as well as the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime, and the BBC iPlayer, the Roku Streambar is bundled with Bluetooth so you can stream music directly from your mobile device. Spotify Connect is also supported, meaning you can stream your favorite tunes using Wi-Fi.
Roku Streambar’s hosting features will be paired with Apple Air Play 2 and HomeKit later this year.
