Animal rights advocacy protesters marched on a UK government building on Tuesday (26) advocating for Animal Rebellion, calling for a national-level plant-based diet.
The moment they climbed and hung banners in the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs building in Westminster, the organization promoted it on its social network, where it has thousands of followers.
In the publication, Animal Rebellion calls on world leaders to position at the 2021 United Nations Conference on Climate Change and cites the Amazon.
“Meat and dairy products are one of the main producers of gases that cause the greenhouse effect in addition to causing 90% of deforestation in the Amazon. World leaders at COP26 aim to meet climate goals without addressing our food system. Can’t talk about. Destroying our planet,” he says.
Animal Rebellion says it intends to stay in the building until Prime Minister Boris Johnson promises to cut all taxpayer support for livestock.
