Students from the state network receive passports for exchange in the United Kingdom

This Monday (22) more than 30 students from the state network received Passport for exchange in UKshipment is scheduled for the end of August. In total 100 students are participating World Connection Program will travel to England, Scotland and Wales.

Students from regular high schools and vocational education will spend three months abroad to gain international experience. The 40 students from the international high school method will study in normal high schools, while the 60 students from the vocational training method will take a vocational course linked to their courses here in Paraíba.

Arthur Domingos, 16, studies in the second year of high school at ECIT Arenys Cavalcante Fidelis in Bayeux, and says he studied for more than a month for the test, and managed to be selected to participate in the Conexão Mundo programme, which will take him and four other classmates from his school to the United Kingdom.

“It will be my first time abroad. I am very worried and nervous about it, but it is going to be an incredible experience”, explains Arthur. “This trip will open my vision, my way of seeing the world and people, it will open me up to learning new things. Also, because I have a bit of trouble exploring new things, going to new places will improve it”, the student plans.

The 2024/2025 edition of Conexão Mundo will send 400 students to English, Spanish and Chinese-speaking countries.
