Samsung has released two official promotional videos for its next interface, One UI 4, based on Android 12. beta version of new skin Publicly available for some time in some countries. Recently, the company launched 3rd update with bug fixes and news. Hopefully the final version will be released in the coming weeks.
first Eve teaser Going by the feedback, One UI starts by focusing on the development of the interface since version 2. This brings us to the first claim, namely that One UI 4 is being built according to the wishes of the users. New widgets for app icons and personalization like dark mode also attract attention.
There’s a lot being covered, but perhaps the most surprising development comes at the end of the video, when Samsung proudly announces that it’s about to bring the laptop to a bit of buzz via the One UI Book 4. As the name suggests, this one is basically a special version of One UI for laptops.
In the second video, the brand goes into a bit more detail about the customizations done in One UI 4 as well as various tools related to photos and quick sharing with Samsung laptops. The term “ecosystem” makes an appearance, reinforcing the South Korean company’s plans to integrate the devices through the interface.
Finally, we get a glimpse of the Galaxy Watch 4 – which is actually raising the argument for One UI 4 being a promotional video. But then again, the watch is part of this all-important ecosystem, so that’s probably why it’s included.
