“I was disrespectful and I manufactured a regrettable slip-up. I am sorry for the way I handled myself and I am reaching out right away to Senator Hawley to apologize immediately,” he wrote. I also want to apologize to my ESPN colleagues due to the fact I know my actions were unacceptable and should not mirror on any of them.”
