A gentleman who died just after becoming shot in Stechford, Birmingham, on Friday has been named as Murtaza Nazir.
Mr Nazir was shot on Bagshaw Highway in Stechford soon right before 8pm on Friday and police have introduced a murder investigation.
His family launched a statement by way of police, saying their lives would “hardly ever be the exact same”.
They mentioned: “Our life shattered and hearts broken.
“As a spouse and children we are united and attempting to recover, but the course of action will not be an uncomplicated one particular. As a relatives not only have we misplaced a father, partner, son, brother, we have missing our mate and protector.
“Anyone who understood him will have their very own exclusive memory with him, and that, in these difficult periods, will get them by it.
“All we request is for prayers for our loved one particular and for any films circulating on social media to be taken down. We do not desire to see this distressing footage. These are tough situations for us and we hope men and women can demonstrate compassion in direction of our inner thoughts.
“We thank the police and ambulance service for their guidance and are forever grateful. To God we belong and to God we shall return. Justice will be served. If not in this everyday living then the hereafter.”
West Midlands Police have asked for any witnesses or any individual with information about the shooting to appear ahead.
