Men’s suits omitted the list of goods and services that are part of the inflation rate calculation in the United Kingdom. According to the British Office for National Statistics (ONS), the reason for this is the Home Office, which has reduced the use of clothing.

The piece was replaced by jackets and blazers so that men’s formal and business clothing could still be represented.

The inflation basket contains 700 goods and services on which people in the UK typically spend their money.

Among the items that have become part of the list after the pandemic changes habits are women’s sportswear and collars for dogs and cats.

According to the agency, in cuisine, the rise of vegetarianism and veganism first considered canned beans, chickpeas and lentils.
