Business
Jennifer Dias Monteiro, 37, a graduate in metallurgical technology, decided to quit her job at a multinational to devote herself to caring for her daughter with health problems. After a few years, she had two more children, and felt the need to open a business to add income to the family. “I wanted to do something that made me happy, that I could find myself again and that I felt happy and important”, he explains.
With that, Jennifer opened a candy business called Jenny’s Donuts. Donuts are a typical American dessert, a type of cookie made from fried sugar dough that can be filled with a variety of toppings.
“After I had my daughter, the desire to be an entrepreneur filled me and I saw the potential of working with donuts. With that, I got qualified, took courses, got some training and started doing it for delivery and it is like that to this day. We also place great importance on product quality and service”, explains Jennifer Dias Monteiro.
Fair is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to make their business even better. “The fair is very important for those who want to participate. Here I can make contacts, meet suppliers, qualify, showcase products. It’s been sensational, I’ve seen all sizes of this size. Never attended a fair!”, he says.
