Japan beat China in Asian Qualifier;  Australia and South Korea expire – 07/09/2021

Japan beat China 1-0 for the second round of the Asian Qualifiers this Tuesday. Yuya Osako scored the winning goal.

With the result, the Japanese moved up to third place in the group with three points. The Chinese, on the other hand, are in the lantern, without earning any points.

In the next round, Japan will visit Saudi Arabia on 7 October. China, in return, receives Vietnam on the same day.

Australia beat Vietnam

Earlier, Australia beat Vietnam 1-0 away from home. Ryan Grant scored the winning goal in the 43rd minute of the first half.

With the result, the Aussies lead Group B with 100% success. In turn, the Vietnamese are in fifth place, with no points won.

In the next round, Australia will host the Oman team on 7 October. On the same day, Vietnam visits China.

South Korea defeated Lebanon

Also on Tuesday, South Korea beat Lebanon 1-0. Cheng-hoon Kwon was the author of the goal in the second half to get three points in 15 minutes.

It is noteworthy that Heung-Min Son, a resident of Tottenham, was discharged at the last minute due to a muscle injury. The striker can embezzle the English club in the next game.

The result leaves Korea on a momentary lead in Group A with four points. Lebanon is in fifth place with one.

In the next round, South Korea will host Syria on 7 October. In return, Lebanon visits Iraq on the same day.
