how to use apple icloud
Login to your Apple ID from your iPhone. In Settings, select the Photos option and turn on iCloud Photos.
This will back up all the media files on your iPhone to iCloud. And you can view these photos and videos from any Apple device by logging in with the same Apple ID. There is 5 GB of free storage available on iCloud.
How to back up Google Photos?
First of all install Google Photos from playstore. Open the app and login with your Google ID.
Then click on Profile Picture and turn on Backup and Sync.
Backing up gallery to cloud storage makes your data safe to some extent. Photos and videos are not lost even if the phone is lost or damaged. Google Photos comes with 15GB of storage.
If you still delete Gallery by mistake, the images will be removed from Google Photos and iCloud. However, in both the services, the deleted files will be stored for some time. Deleted files will be stored in iCloud for 30 days and in Google Photos for 60 days.
In the ‘Recently Deleted’ section of iCloud you will find the files you need to recover.
In Google Photos, select the Library button and you’ll see the ‘Trash’ section where you can retrieve the images. Only 1.5GB of data will be stored in the Trash in Google Photos.
