Friday after Thanksgiving features a lot of college football and college basketball, but this year it also brings us the fun created for the TV golf event. Phil Mickelson and Charles Barclay’s team will face Steff Curry and Patton Manning in Match 3, or as its formal name implies: Capital One match: Champions change.
Four golfers are raising money for historic black colleges and universities by playing 18 holes in a modified alternate shot match at Stone Canyon Golf Club in Arizona. The program will air at 3 p.m. Running on and mainly TNT. Brian Anderson will host the event and provide play-by-play. He will be joined at the booth by Trevor Emmelman and Andre Igudala. Cheyenne Woods and Gary McCard will work as course reporters. There will be special guests before and during the event, with Payton’s brother Ally LPGA star Michelle also joining the pre-match show.
If you can’t watch this event on TV, you have the option to stream the match-up TNT See. If you don’t have cable, you can get a free trial with UT TV BTV, Live TV, AT&T Now, Fubo TV, or Sling TV to stream the event.
In addition to TNT, Blair reports Event B / R will be broadcast live before and during the app. This will include cart cams and many other aspects that will go beyond TNT broadcasts and beyond.
