If you are playing Animal Crossing: New Horizon Sharing the Nintendo Switch and the system (and a single island) with family members, we’re sure this story will be familiar. There is competition between siblings or generations as parents and children get out of bed every morning and start shaking the trees, and keep all the fruit for themselves. Or maybe there’s a disagreement over how to decorate the island. Maybe, maybe, there is competition for time to play other games where the rest of the family is not in island life. Enjoy, for Animal Crossing fans, because Nintendo has heard your appeal.
As part of the Winter Update, Nintendo has rolled out the roll Animal Crossing: New Horizon Data transfer tool. If constant competition causes you to choose the new Nintendo Switch and another copy of the game, you can now move your island ਇ even an entire island ਇਕ to another console. To transfer, you will need two Switch consoles and two copies of the game. On the Nintendo eShop, download the Animal Crossing Transfer Tool, which is required for features released by Nintendo.
To get started, launch the Animal Crossing Transfer Tool on both the source and target Nintendo Switch consoles. An easy Step by step guide Sen will go through the process of transferring data from one Nintendo Switch to another. The transfer tool can only complete the whole island with all its inhabitants and things. A simple step-by-step wizard guides you through the entire process, and the result is that the data is moved from one switch to another. However, the same data may not be present on both consoles.
On the other hand, taking a resident automatically is in the game’s settings menu. To get there, open the game and press the minus (-) button on the left zone corner to open the settings menu. Just tell Tom Nook that you want a resident to switch to another, and he’ll go through the process.
Anand Island-Resident, Cloud Backup and Restore is here!
But what if you no longer have access to the island? Backups are always a great idea, even for game save data, and finally Nintendo added Cloud Backup and Restore. This feature is only available to those who have an active Nintendo Switch subs online subscription. User account who wants to transfer to the island must be a resident of this island. This means you can’t back up a save if only other people are playing it on the switch. If the switch is already broken, lost or stolen, it’s too late. Uploads cannot be enabled remotely.
To enable Cloud Save, access the Settings menu as described above. Tom Nook will go through the process and the console will automatically upload the data whenever the saved data is changed. There are some drawbacks to this process. For one, you can’t just restore island data on your own other switch. The only way for players to complete the restoration process is if the system is provided by an authorized Nintendo service center.
It is frustrating for a gamer if the console dies and they buy a new one to start playing again. Instead, players who have just bought new consoles have to contact Nintendo for some help. This is not the first time Nintendo has lagged behind when it comes to online services. It is also important to contact Nintendo to resume purchases from both Wii eShop and 3DS eShop. It would be nice if Nintendo could be a little more forgiving – the hardware breaks down from time to time.
However, if the system was serviced by Nintendo, the process is straightforward. Now get the same switch member with the online member and login to the new launch Nintendo Switch. Animal Crossing: New Horizon. Hold the minus button as the Nintendo logo comes with a black screen, and the game will ask you to restore the save from the cloud. Switch subs online subscriptions don’t just need to be active for uploading, no expired data can be downloaded. If the subscription period has expired, you will need to sign up again before you can get to the island.
At the very least, backing up game save data is a relief as players arrive to stay on the island for eight months. Although it does take a little help from Nintendo, gaining access to backups allows players to pick up where they left off. However, we are more than happy with the ability to move residents just to a new console. This should relieve some of the domestic stress.
