When it came to Netflix, Emily in Paris Soon won over the public with its easy, funny and simple storyline. The story of a spoiled girl from the United States, who will try to live in Paris, will soon win the hearts of viewers who have not known such a light production for a long time.
Several factors were responsible for the success of Emily in Paris. Whether it’s a stunning performance from Lily Collins, the magical setting of a Parisian backstreet or the love triangle formed between Emily, Gabriel (lucas bravo) and Camille (Camille Razato), the Netflix series was soon renewed for a second season. The new chapters did not arouse much enthusiasm among the public, but revealed Lucien Laviscount, who plays British Alfie. He didn’t know it yet, but it would become the big difference of the second season.
During a panel hosted by Emilie in Paris frost festivalDarren Star, series creator and executive producer, announced that Laviscount will return to the cast as a regular for season three. Along with this, the star also told that the production of the new year will be from June. We still don’t know what direction the series will take, but it looks like Emily will try a relationship with Alfie while living in Paris to do what she loves most: fashion.
Introduced in the second year of production, Alfie is Emily’s new love interest and, in addition to relieving Camille, it is also a nuisance in Gabriel’s life, who realizes too late what he feels for the protagonist.
In addition to Collins, the third season of Emily in Paris also stars Kate Walsh, William Abadi, Ashley Parks and Samuel Arnold. The first two seasons are available on Netflix and are definitely worth watching. All the previous cast members are yet to be confirmed but the chemistry between them should all make it back to the series.
