A spokesman for the Chinese embassy criticized the move.
“The despicable and cowardly act by certain individuals in the UK Parliament to obstruct normal exchanges and cooperation between China and the UK for personal political gains is against the wishes and interests of the people of both countries,” he said. Statement.
