Brazil’s Andrew Parsons was re-elected this Sunday as chairman of the International Paralympic Committee. The single candidate, Parsons, has been leading the unit since 2017, and has received 98% of valid votes. The new term runs until 2025. Andrew Parsons was the chairman of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee and the Paralympic Committee of the Americas, and has held various roles within the Paralympic movement over the past 24 years.
