The film, starring Larissa Manoela, follows the story of young Barbara (Larissa Manoela), who decides to have an exchange with her friend Taila (Thatty Lopes) in the United States. Hoping to discover New York, the two learn that they are to live in the quiet town of Woodstock, two hours from the metropolis. Accustomed to the benefits of her mother’s house, she has a new experience doing housework for her rude hostess. Taila, a woman of protest and free spirit, lives with a patriotic and conservative couple.
