Gluck is a professor of English at Yale University, Ni Ha Haven, Connecticut. She made her debut with “Firstbone” in 1968 and won the Plitzer Prize in 1993 and the National Book Award in 2014.
He has published 12 collections of poetry and several collections of poetry. According to Anders Olson, chairman of the Nobel Committee, his writing strives for clarity and focuses on childhood and family relationships.

Her 1992 Pulitzer Prize-winning collection, The Wild Iris, describes the “snowfall” as a miraculous return to life after winter. “Avrno” (2006) is an explanation of the myth of Persephone going north in the captivity of Hades, the god of death. His latest collection was “Loyal and Prosperous Night” in 2014.
