The coronavirus cannot stop dogs. The 2020 National Dog Show will continue as planned and will air today at 2 p.m., continuing the tradition of Thanksgiving.

There are changes for 2020. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, the show will be without spectators and the judges will practice social distances. Don’t worry, no masks for doggies! In addition, only 600 dogs will compete faster than 2,000 in a typical year.
Hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia, the show was founded in 1879 and has been held annually since 1933.
The National Dog Show is approved by the American Kennel Club. Similarly, only purebreds registered with the club are eligible. Search for dogs from across the country, in over 200 breeds and breeds, competing for Best in Show Honors in seven groups.

In 2020, three new breeds will compete: the barbet, a curly layer French water dog (supporting group); Belgian Lacanois, a rare, dry-coat protective breed that was originally bred and cared for by caring for animals and linen outside (herding groups); And Dogo Argentino, an Argentine pack-hunting dog known for taking on large games such as wild boar and puma (working group).
The hosts are familiar. Once again, this TV personality is the TV personality of “Seinfield” and “Dance with the Stars” celebrity, analyst David Free and journalist Mary Carillo.
