House of the Next Door (2019)

Ben (John-Paul Howard) has an apparently harmless habit: he likes to hunt in other people’s lives. The young man broke his hand while spying on the neighbors and confronted the police while staying with his mother. As a result, he is going to live with his father, an authoritarian and lonely man with whom he does not have a good relationship, in a coastal city in the United States. Until they find out that everything is going well, the mother of the family next door is actually a millennial witch. The atmosphere of suspense and terror continues until the end, when a change leaves the viewer without a floor.

A man is a traumatist, who recently causes memory loss, and does not remember anything of what he has experienced in the last days. It is the basis of the short story Christopher Nolan’s film Memento mori, By Jonathan Nolan (director’s brother). In the plot, Leonard (Guy Pearce) cannot remember anything after witnessing his wife’s death. To inspire the viewer to feel the same mental illusion as the protagonist, Nolan tells the story backwards. A psychological thriller with many surprises along the way.

Despite Adelaide’s (Lupita Nyongo) wishes, her husband Gabe (Winston Duke) insists on spending weekends at the family’s beach house with her two children. The atmosphere of suspicion increases dramatically when a group of four people appear at the door of the residence. The intruders are a kind of ideal copy of the family, however, they are evil and thirsty for revenge. But who are they? Copies, Ghosts, Aliens? Director and screenwriter Jordan Peel as award-winning feature film Daud!Skip the explanations little by little. And when the viewer thinks he has understood everything … he is again taken by surprise.

Inspired by the work of Agatha Christie, the comic follows the course of an investigation into the murder of Harlan Thrombe (Christopher Plummer), a well-known thriller writer who is found dead in his mansion at 85. Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is called to the scene to uncover the mystery. All the suspects, most of whom are familiar to the author, have reasons to kill the patriarchy. With the starring cast (Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana D’Armus and Chris Evans among them), director Ryan Johnson’s feature film does not take long to tell what happened on the day of death, however, it hinders the disintegration of the plots that Let’s look for one. Sole guilty, to reveal other fairly creative outlets.

Since his wife’s death, plastic surgeon Robert Legaard (Pedro Bandaras) has been dedicated to the manufacture of complete skin. While experimenting, the doctor wants to build tissue capable of coping with pain. Her job changes when her daughter is kidnapped and she feels the girl has been abused. The desire for revenge in a strange mix of science fiction, comedy and horror, conducted by acclaimed director Pedro Almodovar, has surprising consequences.

Stylist Reynolds Woodcock (Daniel Day-Lewis) is a powerful, controlling man, addicted to dozens of employees, family members, and women at his disposal. She is infatuated with Alma (Vicky Cripps), a waitress who in simple ways turns her into a muse. The woman will be with the stylist and her manipulative sister (Leslie Manville). The more time couples spend with each other and get to know each other, the more toxic and abusive the relationship between them becomes. With the mastery of director Paul Thomas Anderson, the script provides an elegant and surprising twist.
Hidden Beauty (2016)

Successful campaigner Howard (Will Smith) goes into a severe and depressed depression after losing his six-year-old daughter, even played by his friends and partners – Edward Norton, Kate Winslet and Michael Pena – to help him. Can not Reluctantly, he joins a support group as he begins writing letters for death, love, and time, which until then, he believes are untouchables. When these “institutions” tried to respond to the correspondence like ordinary people, they were not surprised.
