FAPESP Agency – The British Council, in partnership with the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASP) and the International Scientific Partnership Fund (ISPF), offers eight scholarships for researchers at different career stages.

Scholarships are offered at the Universities of Edinburgh, Wolverhampton, and Nottingham in the United Kingdom, and cover topics such as sustainability, infrastructure, arts, education, and the English language.

At the University of Wolverhampton, three scholarships are available for early-career researchers focusing on studies relating to the legal Amazon. Fees range from £34,314 to £37,386 per year. Registration is open until 30 June University Website,

Three one-year fellowships in Earth Observation and Data Science are available for research into social sustainability at the University of Nottingham. The focus will be on critical supply chains, such as timber from the Brazilian Amazon. The minimum value of the grants is £30,487 per year. Finally, two scholarships are offered at the University of Edinburgh for young postdoctoral researchers in priority and strategic areas such as arts, education, international relations, relations and cultural diplomacy.
